Branthaven Homes is a family based homebuilder with deep roots in the community. Founded in 1971 by Al Stipsits, who immigrated from Europe, Branthaven Homes was conceived with the talents of Al’s master painter pedigree. “Old World” painting finishing soon blossomed to carefully crafted master building. The company quickly gained a following and reputation as the most prestigious custom home builder in Burlington.

Al’s company was named in honour of Burlington’s founding father – Joseph Brant. Al and his wife Judy believed that “A home should always be a haven” and as such Branthaven Homes was born.

In 1986, son Steven and daughter Andrea joined the company and have continued to develop the Branthaven legacy. In addition to custom-built homes and executive country estates, Branthaven’s second generation has grown the company to include master-planned residential communities, smart-growth infill, destination enclaves and mid-rise condominiums – all designed with a keen eye to distinctive architecture and enduring value.
